Senior Project Manager (Solution Development)
Major Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of application system development professionals to perform feasibility study, design, development and implementation of the Company's FinTech initiatives as well as to provide production support
  • Manage scope, progress, cost, resources and stakeholders’ expectations to deliver the project within timeline and budget
  • Manage vendors in order to meet targeted project timeline and to attain quality standard of deliverables
  • Evaluate systems effectiveness, undertake management of problem analysis and diagnosis, maintenance and enhancement of the application systems
  • Ensure efficient and effective system development processes are in place and enforce compliance by the team
  • Provide supervision and guidance of staff and monitor their performance
Requirements
  • University education in computer science or related discipline
  • At least 15 years’ computing experience of which 5 years at project management position in financial sector
  • Proven experience in project management, business requirement analysis and application system development and implementation, FinTech related is preferable
  • Hands-on experience in application system development process, design methodologies and incident management in a project manager role
  • Knowledge of Hyperledger Fabric, Vue.js, NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, GraphQL, Microservices, Terraform, Java Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes(K8s), CI/CD tools and cloud-based application design will be an advantage
  • Strong leadership, planning, organizing, communication and interpersonal skills, and able to work under pressure
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin
